Robin White, founder of Wild Graces, has been a wildcrafter, beekeeper & herb gardener for over 30 years. She began her herbal studies in the 90's with Rosemary Gladstar's Science & Art of Herbalism. Over the years she continued her studies, completing the Medicinal Plants Certificate Program at Cornell University, the Herbal Immersion Program at the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine, as well as the End-of-Life Doula Program at the University of Vermont's Larner School of Medicine. A graduate of both the Practical & Master Herbalist Programs at Wild Rose College of Herbal Medicine, Robin's passion for plants, plant study & pottery shows in her teas, tinctures & hand thrown tea bowls. She also designs original stained glass inspired by nature.
She is founding editor/publisher of Akitsu Quarterly, a haiku journal, and founder/hostess of the Annual Haiku Gathering at Wild Graces, a day long gathering of poets, artists and musicians. Her love of the arts, nature & gardening were culled into creating Wild Graces. She was a juried member of the Deerfield Arts Tour and the Canterbury Artisan Festival at Shaker Village.
A 10th generation Quaker, reiki master, death doula, and state licensed LNA, Robin also provides ADLs, hospice & post-mortem care for the frailest in her community. She and her husband, Marshall, a mental health clinician / wild mushroom hunter, live at Wild Graces, a stone's throw from the Pawtuckaway Mountains.
